Our Goof Traditional Cache

Well, this one has quite a story.
When we were out hunting a spot to hide our contribution to the Curse of the FTF series, we noted the coordinates for several different possible locations, recording them on the male half’s I-phone. When the female half of the team was doing the write up for Chained Gang, the male half accidentally gave her THESE coords instead of the ones for THAT spot. Uh, oh! The female half, being navigationally dyslexic and NOT a map person couldn’t figure out why the new star wasn’t showing up on the geo-map. Finally – after hearing the sad tales of hours of hunting done by a couple of our geocaching friends (SO sorry about that Germex1 and Thesenvitz! Please accept our humblest apologies!) for a cache that wasn’t there, the female half shifted the map and saw a star where it did not belong. Oh, no! Male half figured out what he’d done. Bummer! So we disabled that cache until we could juggle things around to correct the situation. Whew!
So now we really do have a cache hidden at these coordinates. It is a micro, so bring your own writing tool. Now, if you know us at all you know we aren’t particularly fond of micros. (Our mantra: “Never hide a micro where something larger will go.”) Anyway, this spot seemed to be one that would only accommodate a little one. This container is one we got from a cache in Tennessee. The cache owner made a bunch of these and was distributing them. It’s only taken us a year and a half to actually hide it.
You don’t need to cross any fences to find this cache. You might get a visit from Steve, who lives down the road. Between Germex1 and us he has learned a lot about caching and thinks it’s all pretty fascinating. He’s looking forward to seeing how many cachers come to find this. ***Man, that was fast, Germex1! It was fitting that you should get this FTF after all your effort when it wasn't there! Ha!***
