We were in VC today and decided to come home via Carson City and the new Three Flags Highway. I spotted this marker and stopped, confusing it with the nearby earthcache. After reading the plaque took a look online, and it seems there are no active caches too close by, and this being an admirable spot, we left one.
This area (and this canyon) being known for some rough winters, we opted for an Otterbox, size somewhere between a small and a regular. Stocked with some small swag, log book and an HD magnet for the FTF prize.
