Toy story three is a kind of tough movie for us dad's to watch. In the movie, Andy is all grown up and headed off to college. While he is taking Woody with him, he plans on leaving all the other toys in the attic, likely to never be played with again. The story ends with Andy giving his toys to a neighbor so that the toys can have a new life with a new kid who will love and take care of them.
With this in mind, the students at Gulf Shores Middle School decided to set up this "Toy Story 3 Kid's Cache" so that their old toys (mostly Hot Wheels cars) can have a new life and make another child really happy. The rules for this cache are as follows:
- Adults may log the smiley, but you must be 12 years old or under to take a toy from this cache.
- You do not have to put something in to take a toy out. These toys are a gift to you from my students.
- You may only take one toy.
- The child must be present to take a toy and each child in the group may have one. (Sorry parents and grand parents)
We really hope your kids enjoy this cache. Please feel free to add toys to the cache, but please save the normal geoswag and travel bugs for another cache. When you are finished with the cache, you might think about taking the little ones to the putting green.
Please consider posting a picture of your child with the toy he/she selected, so my students can see how their gifts have made other kids happy.
