Another in my fill in the blanks series, trying to push the 0.1 mile limit for nearby caches.
I've worked in the East Stone Mountain area for over 15 years, so I've tried all of the local eateries. Unfortunately, most of these are fast food or chain restaurants. As I head out for lunch and am traveling down US 78, I go through the list - fast food (too greasy), Subway (don't like today's special), Chinese (ate there yesterday), etc. At the end of the stretch of stripmalls is Donnie's. Donnie's is your basic meat and three run by Asians. The food is good, but not of the 'could eat there everyday' variety. However because it is at the end of line (and on the right side of the road), it has become my most common lunch stop. Cache is hidden fairly aggressively due to the muggle potential at peak times. It is stocked with a bunch of stuff from my desk that has accumulated over the years.
