The north end of this parking lot contains a pizza joint, but the world headquarters of that pizza joint is across the street to the southwest.
Godfather's Pizza was founded in Omaha in 1973 and by 1979 was the nation's fastest-growing food chain. The company was a subsidiary of the Pillsbury company from 1985-1988. There are now around 620 locations.
Herman Cain, who was president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza from 1986-1995, unsuccessfully ran for Senate (living in Georgia) in 2004, and for the Republican presidential nomination in 2011-2012.
