Monast(e)ry of Vrahernon
This cache will show you a lost place near Valtos-beach in Parga - the monastery of Vrahernon:
The best way to find the cache is by starting at the waypoint "Harbour"(N39°16.908’, E20°23.271’) and walking uphill straight to the reference-point "View"(N39°16.750', E20°23.174'). On the way through the olive-grove you can see the signpost "Monastry" instead "Monastery". The cache is hidden in a hole of the wall at a height of 30cm (Spoiler). The cachebox contains 2 logbooks (= enough until my next holidays in Parga) and a pencil.
I've hidden another can nearby in case the original one goes missing. That's why some people find both cans.
After logging the cache it's worth visiting the small beach 100m from the cache: N39°16.780', E20°23.320'. Since 2014 it's forbidden to walk through the olive-grove down to this small beach. But surely it's allowed swimming from Valtos-beach to this beach or coming with a boat.
Special information, if you have a boat(!!!) - at the secound beach (Waypoint "Fragopidima-beach") you are really all alone: N39°16.870', E20°23.010'
