Geocache Description:

A small traditional cache in a little historical cemetery.

There was a cache here in the past - GCPNYF - that was part of Captain_S' 'Power of 10' series. That was archived in 2009, so I thought this spot could do with a new cache.

There is a very interesting noticeboard at GZ with a lot of historical information about the area. You will be standing on the front step of the church that once stood in the area marked out by the rectangle of stones on the other side of the noticeboard.

You will not need to disturb or approach any of the residents to retrieve the cache so please be respectful in this place. If caches in cemeteries are not your thing then this is not for you.

Accessing the cemetery can be a little tricky as it is not sign-posted from the road. Carefully turn off the main highway at S 41 12.334 E 173 21.596 (I have added this as a waypoint FYI). This will be much easier and safer if approaching from the north. It looks like a driveway, but take the left-hand fork and you will find yourself at the cemetery gate. Please park considerately as there are (living) residents further up the drive.

Cache is a 400ml Sistema container with logbook, pencil, eraser, sharpener and room for small swaps. Please replace the cache exactly as found so that it is not visible on approach.

Happy caching...
