Geocache Description:

This is a park and grab cache outside the Wat Chan temple.

This temple is another historical landmark of Pitsanuloke province. At present, the temple is constructing many buildins for riligious ceremonial use. The principal of the temple is Chao Kun Ubali Atulo. The past buddhist lent day, there was memorable event when Chao Khun Ubali Atulo finished 9 days extreme meditation without food and a few water. This kind of meditation is rare to find monks to be able to do this because the meditation takes a lot of strong will to go through the 9 days but Chao Khun Ubali Atulo has done this every year. If you are interested to know more about the temple and Chao Khun Ubali, please visit Pitsanuloke province If you enter the main gate and go to the back there is an example of the new roof.
