Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to honour Scojohara

A team that has been around for awhile. Not so active recently, but still have many cache being found in the SE!

Started caching on 8th July 2004 and placed their 1st cache called 'Plane View' in Oct 2004

I've used a picture of a TB so named after them. It is a scaled up version of a Yellow Etrex made of concrete!
The Story of "Scojohara's GPS" goes as follows... "A couple of months ago we lost our etrex. We searched high and low but couldn't find it. Mr S was blamed for leaving it in the car unlocked and it being stolen and constantly reminded by Mrs S. (and udderchaos) In the end we gave up and got a new one. Last weekend friends were down staying at our house and doing a bit of caching and thought all their Christmas’s had come at once when they found a gps sitting by 'Beakers Lounge'(GCMMF3) cache. Luckily it had co-ordinates called "home" in it. It took them to our house where they were staying. They made up a 4 part multi taking me all over town only giving me the co-ordinates when they left and not saying a word about it. The heart did a little flutter when the 3rd leg had the batteries from the old gps in it so I then had to climb the mount of Mount Gambier to find if it was really there. The concrete GPS was cast by udderchaos for the SA Cachers June Long Weekend Mt Gambier event in 2007 as a joke and was left beside a cache before the games began.

The cache is located on the Tailem Bend to Karoonda road. This is a good bitumen road with a wide mallee vegetation corridor.
