Geocache Description:

Leap Day is a rare event, and so are happy hour events in SLAGA land, so I've decided to combine the two.

Come join me at the above coordinates any time between 5 and 8 PM. Come by and just visit for a little bit or stick around for the evening. There's a small room in the front for groups, and I've reserved it from 5 to 8. If the weather is nice, the room opens out to the patio. The hostess told me that it holds about 25 people. If we have more they can spill out into the other areas of the restaurant, around the bar or the back area by the pool tables.

You can order food in the room we have, or feel free to get a table in the main dining area. Happy hour special prices are in effect from 4 to 7, and if anyone wants to stick around late and watch the Blues game at 9, there are specials then, too.

Well, since I first set up the event I've had a chance to have dinner here and both my husband and I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I also forgot to mention that the entire restaurant is smoke free.

Now, I know that a lot of folks aren't into happy hour or may not want to brave Highway 70 at rush hour, so I'm offering an alternate way to log this event. I originally planned to do this on Main Street in St. Charles, so I'm going to give you an opportunity to get a Leap Day smiley by visiting Main Street.

Here are the rules for alternate logging: Make a sign that says "Happy Leap Day!" or something similar and make it big enough so that it will show up in a photo. Get creative if you'd like! Any time of day or night on February 29, take a picture of yourself with your sign somewhere on Main Street. Upload your photo here and voila, you have a smiley!

Happy Leap Day!
