The listed coordinates take you to the north post of a locked cable gate along Skyline Drive. Immediately next to it is a parking spot where you can pull completely off the road. From this north gate post, travel on foot approximately 115 feet SE (133º) until you stand surrounded by a group of 6 trees. Near the center of this tree group is a small rock outcrop at ground level. You should see a view almost identical to the photograph above as you look to the east. The cache is here at the rock outcrop.
This is a Letterbox Hybrid Cache. It contains a stamp that stays with the cache. It is NOT a trade item, do not take it with you. You will need to bring your own stamp pad as there is not one in the cache. You do not need to have your own stamp to log this cache, just sign the log book.
Since this is part of the Skyline Wilderness Park, it is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please look for the cache during this time only. The cache is a small decon style container. Please return the container to where you found it and be sure it remains well hidden with the surrounding natural material.
