In the spirit of the Tour De-Cache challenges, I present my first Tour D'Keato.
The cache is at the listed coords. Please complete this simple yet challenging task before visiting the GZ and logging in.
There are 31 days in month in which a cache can be placed. There are 31 days in which a cache can be found. Find a cache on the date of the month that matches when it was placed. Complete this for all 31 possible dates, and your quest is complete.
Example: If you are caching on April 10th you would need to find and log a cache placed on the 10th of any month, any year. June 10th 2009 is good, as is December 10, 2003. Now you can check off the 10. Do this for the 11th, 12th, etc. Rinse and repeat.
You are basically seeking out caches placed on their monthly anniversary dates.
Of course there are rules, but not many.
1. Events do not count
2. Finds prior to the placment date of this cache do not count.
3. Your found logs should be kept in a bookmark, or posted here in a note so they can be verified.
4. Date placed is what you seek, not date published.
5. You are on your honor for this challenge. Fudging log dates is always possible, but why would you want lessen your good name, your family's reputation, or cause harm to your conscience in doing that?
Start to finish on this challenge will take a minimum of 31 days, but as I am publishing in Feb, it really will be no sooner than March 31st.
As with any challenge, I first had to complete this before posting. I had to drive outside of my local radius many times to find a date placed to match the date I needed, hence the 3 star rating. For some it may be tougher to find the cache that matches. Keep your chin up, if you miss a date, there will be another one in a month!
