Geocache Description:

Congratulations Biker 64 FTF! NOTE! The county has stalled the reconstruction of this bridge. It is getting a higher difficulty some on this one because you can really only can get SAFELY to it from one side.... the south side. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS THIS BRIDGE FROM THE HWY 194 SIDE OF THE BRIDGE! Do not go down the embankment and cross the tracks - you will be trespassing. You are risking your life to do so. Do not attempt to cross the tracks. You are risking your life to do so. The NANO is at the third post. I have this thing for trains, and bridges. I cross over this bridge fairly often and thought that I would like to share it. Two sets of tracks go under this bridge, and it is a great vantage point to see them pass by. There is no need to go down to the tracks. On the day it was put out the Etrex bounced around very little and I got good consistent readings. The cache is a silver NANO on a silver metal bar,. There is no room for anything except the log so bring your own pen. Pay close attention how it is hidden and rehide it as you found it. Please don’t drop it. Be sure to check out the other caches and make a day of it in the Pike, Spalding, Lamar, Harris and Meriwether county area.
