Geocache Description:

This is a simple and quick cache on a public road. QUICK park and grab and doubt you will have a problem finding day or night! PLEASE be careful in winter as it can be Icy!

My other hobby is High Power Rocketry. I have flown Rockets over 28ft tall 16" in dia. and over 400Lbs! I have flown to over 14,000ft above ground level. I was very fortunate to be on 3 episodes of Rocket Challenge for the Discovery Channel and we did a special episode on Discovery Canada. I fly with a group called "Hillbilly Rocketry" (thats a story for another time) Here are the websites of the clubs I fly with www.sssrocketry.org From time to time The re runs are aired and the phone starts ringing! Flew Rockets from Kansas to Nevada. I moved to The White Mountains in 1999 and we started a local club with the National Assoc. of Rocketry "NAR" that was to be short lived due to the Rodeo Chediski fire and public perception that rockets cause fires. WRONG! People start fires!!!!! I took up Geocaching 3 years ago and am approaching 850 finds. This is a fun cache for me in hopes that I can meet fellow cachers and share a view of a High Power Rocket! This is a good sized container and PERFECT for Travel bug drops. The Nosecone on the cache is from my LEVEL 2 Certification Rocket. It is 7ft Tall 4" in Diameter has Dual stage Electronic deployment and has flown with Motors 38mm H242, I211, I435, J340, J350, J570. and 54mm J415, K185, K550 and even was in a magazine with a HyperTec J FX Hybrid No2 Motor. Just lift the nosecone off to enter cache! If ya see us across the street from cache please say hello.
