A unique cache in a beautiful corner of the Forest of Dean.
St Michael's Church Abenhall:
There has been a church here since at least the 1200s. There are traditional links with the local mining community and the new Free Miners window in the tower is well worth a look. The church is open on some days.
The cache is at the boundary of the church yard but you do have to enter to get it so please be respectful of those who may be visiting graves. If driving it is best to park at the end of the foot path not outside the church.
