Geocache Description:

A traditional cache located at sea level in Golden Bay.

Trig station A70E: its a fairly anonymous 6th level trig set between the road and the sea between Collingwood and Puponga in Golden Bay. There is room to pull off the road near the cache. This is easiest done when travelling from Puponga to Collingwood.

The LINZ recorded location for this trig is S 40 32 52.5464 E 172 43 17.6606 located at 2.88m AMSL. Let's hope the sea level doesn't rise too dramatically in the future.

Cache is only big enough to hold a log so bring your own writing device.
