The cache is in a more remote part of the park near a lesser known entrance. You could park there or hike up the short steep trail from the main lot.
I found the cache that used to be here on one of my first caching runs. At that time the inland portion of this park was pretty much unknown to me. It was one of the first times I realized where geocaching can take you. Half of the caches I found on that day are gone now, so I thought I'd hide some of my own. You will not need to go over the large cliff to make the find, although you will need to go near it. Please rehide well so this cache doesn't suffer the same fate that the last one here did. This park closes at dusk, potential FTFers should make note of this.
