This cache is located near Great Wilne near a metal style off the Midshires Way footpath from Church Wilne over the River Derwent.
The River Derwent is the longest river in Derbyshire, it starts in the Peak District and flows through the grounds of Chatsworth, onto Matlock, Derby city centre and joins up with the River Trent at Great Wilne.
Parking is a pull-in lay-by at the side of the river near Church Wilne. It could be difficult to get bikes and buggies off the bridge to carry on the path that crosses a field.
The cache is small and has room for only a log sheet. Please remember bring a pen to sign.
