Geocache Description:

It has been decreed that an event shall be created on the 19th day of February, in the year 2012. The festivities shall begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 9:00 a.m. as the intrepid explorers begin their quest. Bring your own breakfast to enjoy.

Once upon a time, a group of geocachers from the lands around South Arlington decided to hunt River Legacy Park on their steel horses for the elusive beast known as Pepper. With their heads full of their total success, they then decided to slay the monsters found on the Insanity Trail. They found the journey on foot to be difficult and there were those that fell and those that departed before the end. Now the group has heard tales of fair Rapunzel and her tower prison. With canoes and kayaks at the ready, this group will make the journey from the event coordinates down the Brazos River in hopes to not only rescue the maiden, but to find the other treasures that have been left behind by past journeymen.
Tales will be told, friendships will be forged, glasses will be raised. Come to see the group off, or bring your own canoe and kayak and join the quest also!

***I have been asked this question, so I want to clarify it. You do NOT have to join the group in the canoes or kayaks to get a smilie for the EVENT! It is separate. Feel free to come join us, laugh at us if it's cold, trade pathtags, eat your breakfast, chat and basically enjoy an early morning get-together. There will even be a fairy tale-themed log to sign!
