Geocache Description:

Many of us have met, seen her name on cache logs, or been out caching with Chembrat.  Come witness her marriage with her fiancee, Ben, a muggle, at Newport On The Levee on March 10th, 2012 at 2 p.m., followed by a reception inside at 3:30 p.m.

The ceremony will take place on the plaza near the observation area next to the Newport Aquarium.  This is a very casual and relaxed setting.  It's going to be a quick exchange of vows and then off to party on the Levee.

Those that know her are rather happy and surprised she found someone willing to put up with her and her idiosyncrasies.  Let's face it, there are few people who are willing to let their bride go out with a bunch of ill-dressed men into unknown areas, some heavily wooded and remote, to look for pill bottles and food containers hidden there.

It becomes even more sensitive for a groom to let his bride go out into the countryside knowing she will drop her drawers on a whim, or be seen in the summertime, accompanied by a close friend, caching topless along major highways.

Why would someone want to attend the wedding of someone like that?  I suppose it is for similar reasons that I have been rousted from a nice warm bed to accompany her at 5 a.m. on a caching trip several hours and a full state away to ride a bicycle trail in 100+F temperatures.  She may be shy and reserved (yeah, right!) and as demure as any bride (gawd, I'm going to Hell for sure!), but she is a good friend that offers more than the surface shows.  Her intended must be of similar ilk just to put up with her.

I am proud that she asked me to co-officiate this wonderful event.  I am supremely happy she and Ben have found a love so dear that they choose to share it together for as long as the love shall remain.  We hope that love will endure for the rest of their lives, and we shall join with them to pass along our good and sincere wishes for a long and happy life together, or our condolences, however they may apply.

After the official ceremony, join the happy couple as they celebrate in a "party till you drop" at a nearby gathering place, Bar Louie, inside Newport on the Levee at 3:30 p.m. following the ceremonies, pictures, and general kibbutzing.

Come to wish the happy couple the best for their marriage, or your condolences, whichever applies, and remain to share any caching stories with which you may wish to embarrass her.

Bar Louie has all the comfort of a corner tavern, meshed with dramatic lighting, murals, and a mosaic tile back bar. "Open early, closes late" is the credo at this hip neighborhood restaurant and bar specializing in oversized sandwiches and artfully created jumbo martinis, but also offers an extensive selection of appetizers, flatbreads, pastas and entrees. You'll find a wide variety of exciting beers, microbrews and wines by the glass or bottle, plus any mixed drinks you can think of.

Bar Louie also offers a unique variety of martinis, wines by the glass, and over ten draft beers. For more information about Bar Louie, visit their website.

The festivities are unlimited and will terminate when the last cacher is carted out by good samaritans or the local constabulary, whichever comes first.  Feel free to partake in any food or drink of your choice, but, remember, the term "open bar" only refers to the establishment's status.  You are responsible for paying for what you ingest.  If you plan on having adult beverages, please arrange for overnight lodging nearby, a ride home by someone not so influenced, or limit your intake so as to not break any local laws.

Prepare for a long cold winter.  Hell is surely going to freeze over, and it may affect the Greater Cincinnati area in the process!
