Geocache Description:

Looking back towards the village

Hint is now more specific as co-ords are a bit jumpy in the area. Bring your own pen.

Built around 1900 for the then extremely busy herring fishing trade St Johns Pier is located just outside the village of Ardara near the top of the Loughros Point road.

It's an easy road walk to get there and should take less than 30 mins from the centre of town.

The route is pushchair/buggy friendly though the usual precautions are required at the pier itself.

It provides a beautiful viewing point toward Loughros Mór Bay.

There is a picnic bench at the pier if you wish to take some refreshments but please remember to take all litter with you when you leave. (CITO)

Cache is a thin slide top tin.
