The trail follows the old Greytown to Woodside branch railway (1880
- 1953). It runs through farmland, stands of heritage trees and
native plantings, with beautiful views of the Tararuas. The trail
is apparently wheelchair accessible, however we felt that the stone
they have used may be too coarse for wheelchairs. In the event that
you do get your wheelchair here, you may need assistance to
retrieve the cache. Dogs must be on a leash and it is unsuitable
for horses and motorbikes.
The cache is a 200ml sistema in a camo bag. UPDATE 25/1/23: Now a small pill bottle Please re-hide it
exactly where you found it and bring your own pen.
As usual please watch out for muggles who might also be using the
path.
