Okay... so it's not a river. But it sounded good. I couldn't pass up an opportunity to hide a cache in this cool rock formation overlooking Muddy Creek. There were so many places one could hide a cache. My kids had fun looking for just the right spot. I hope they weren't disappointed I didn't go with any of theirs. Watch your step climbing over these rocks.
This road is in bad shape. I don't recommend coming out here without a four wheel drive vehicle. Although... we did it in Cache MACS's minivan, on the snow and ice. Still, the further you go, the worse the road gets. There are several places where it is washed-out. Be careful, and keep your eyes on the road.
