The Spindoctors are a NSW geocaching team and probably the first
Australian cachers I was exposed to. In 2005 I started planning a
trip to Australia and so when I heard a geocaching podcast from
Australia was going to be published I tuned in!! The first Geotalk
episode was released on 12 November 2006 and Spindocbob did a great
job!! He's still hosting his podcast 6 years later and released
show 82 shortly before I placed this cache.
Darren has shared his geocaching adventures and his family with
us listeners through the show. I find it incredible that Darren
still makes time for caching in addition to the show and somehow
comes up with the most interesting trivia questions! I got the
chance to meet the Spindoctors at Oz Mega in 2010 and look forward
to getting to meet them again. I placed this cache to honor the
Spindoctors and say cheers and thanks for giving us a good way to
plug into the geocaching community in Australia!
