The Fyansford "Monier Arch" Bridge across the Moorabool River was constructed in 1900 and replaced the previous badly deteriorated wooden bridge built in 1854. It remains a favourite place for local photographers and is very popular for wedding photography. Whilst no longer carrying vehicular traffic, it remains in excellent condition.
The cache is suitable for children with 5 and 7 yo's helping with the hide. There is no need to walk on or across the Hamilton Hwy. It contains a small sistema container though that is not what you are trying to spot. Accurate GPS readings can be slightly tricky (that's a bit of a clue!) and once in the vicinity, using your eyes & the hint might be the best strategy. The terrain is not completely flat but there is no need to risk rolling an ankle. Parking on Fyansford Common near the pub offers easiest access. Please handle carefully to ensure the cache remains intact.
