This is part of Ma On Shan Mine(MOSM) series cache, it is planed for cachers to take this as a pre-look for the Ma On Shan Mine, or they can take this as a progress point for the full mine journey. In the past, the generator is generates powers for the whole mine when the mine still in operation.
Listed coordinates is a rough location for the under ground cache, that means you can not direct reach the cache by this coordinates, check waypoint information for the mine entry, This is the upper level entry at 240ML(altitude 240M).
To visit this cache, [1] Enter via the mine entry; [2] Follow the tunnel, walk toward inside around 30M to the end of the tunnel(same level), you will reach a room, this is the power generator room; [3] Identify the generator(it no longer exist now), the cache container hidden behind the original generator, covered by some concrete blocks on the ground.
Needed tools: The mine is fully dark, a reliable torch is required, better take one more lighting as back up, go with team is suggested, don't go alone.
For the whole mine : before reach the power room, you will found an incline tunnel at the left hand side, called 26 incline, this is a incline way down to other levels, mainly for 192ML and 144ML levels, Don't go if you with out well preparation -- IMPORTANT!!!
