Its down there but not that hard an approach
While placing two other nearby caches, I spotted this dip and knew there was room. As I approached the culvert and got farther from the road I was amazed at how many types of birds I heard. (Keep in mind it is early February as I write this.) I highly recommend taking a few minutes to sit on the nearby culvert to listen and relax. Listening to the birds and the water of the stream was very enjoyable.
I HIGHLY recommend using the gradual approach parallel to the road rather than straight down. There are a large number of rocks hidden in the grass that can catch one off guard.
Do not go into the woods beyond the stream nor cross the fence line.
I was surprised there is no fence here but somewhere just on on the far side of the stream is private property. It isn't marked but there is no need to go there.
There is plenty of room to pull well off the road and the gentle slope makes for an easy approach.
Congratulations to Alex of Kiefer Family on being FTF!
