There have been a few camera caches set up,
but I decided to put a twist on this one. You must go to the
location at the coordinates above and you must have a camera. This
location is not hard to find, but it can be hard to get in to
because it is a very busy highway. Once you get there, set your
camera on a tripod, on the hood of your car, or have a friend with
you to snap the photo.
There are three MAJOR
conditions:
1) It must be a clear enough day so
you can see Kennesaw Mountain in the photo. It can be hazy and kind
of ghosted, but you cannot do this cache on a nasty, rainy day or
at night.
2) You or one of your Geocaching
partners must be in the photo. You must face the camera for the
photo.
3) Please DO NOT post a found log
unless you include the photo or I will delete your log
(cache-nazi).
This is something of an experiment. I am
curious about how many Geocachers will put their photos on the log.
If you do not know how to get your photo scanned, email me and I
will give you my mailing address. Mail the photo to me and I will
scan it and email it back to you so you can post it with your log.
This cache can be done as you drive through town as well since it
is near a major interstate.
This is not too difficult, but then do you
want to post your picture here too? Come on Geocachers... Don't Be
Bashful.
