Amid downed trees and giant boles, you will find this cache.
There are several new trails in this area. Take either set of stairs from Madera Circle to avoid crossing private property or come in from Regency Court. The views are fantastic. Please take care not to step on the Hayfield tar weed (Hemizonia congesta subsp. luzulifolia). Examine the plants; they look like little white daisies and are relatively rare natives, re-establishing themselves after the overburden of tree limbs and debris were removed. This cache was lost for two years because of the tree felling, but it survived and has been enabled again.
