Geocache Description:


This is a straightforward cache hidden in the Elger Bay Preserve. The nature trail and signage were created by the Friends of Camano Island Parks, who volunteer to make this and so many of the parks on this island a joy to experience.

What makes spending time on Camano Island so special?

  • The beautiful natural scenery visible from nearly every location
  • The miles of beach, shoreline, and water views
  • The lovingly maintained parks and trails
  • The careful stewardship provided by the Friends of Camano Island Parks
  • The generous abundance of high quality Rey del Roble hides

It’s all of the above, and most especially, the camaraderie invoked by spending time with good friends in such an enchanting place. No matter what, every trip I’ve ever made to Camano has been a delight.
