This is one of 25 caches Q125 Mesquite Geocache Challenge placed within the City of Mesquite as one of the many events throughout the year to help celebrate Mesquite’s Quasquicentennial: A year-long event to foster a pride of community, as well as develop an appreciation for Mesquite’s history.
The park is 43 acres with a pond, 6 lighted basketball courts, 9 lighted tennis courts (6 indoor), and 9 picnic tables. Westlake House is used for meetings or special occasions. There is remains of an old well to the back of Westlake house and Gazibo just off the main parking area.
