Tiffany scholars have long known of Clara Driscoll's existence--her Dragonfly Lamp won an award at the Paris International Exposition in 1900. She headed up the Women's Glass Cutting Department at the Tiffany Studios in New York. It wasn't until 2005, however, that new collections of Clara's correspondence came to light and proved that she was the creator of many of the most famous Tiffany lamp designs. She was born and raised in Tallmadge, Ohio, and finally laid to rest here. This cache is placed in her honor.
At the above coordinates you will find the Wolcott family stone—it stands a little less than 4 feet high. Clara’s name is carved on the side that faces route 91 and includes her maiden name and the name of her last husband—Clara Wolcott Booth. After taking a look at Clara’s name, walk to the left and find Emily’s information at the bottom of the next panel.
The final cache is a small lock 'n lock (BYOP) and can found at the following location:
N 41 05.ABC W 081 26.DEF
A = the day of Emily’s death
B = the first digit of the decade of her death
C = the number of letters in her last name
D = the last digit of the year of her birth
E = the last digit of the year of her death
F = the second digit of the year of her death
Checksum: A+B+C+D+E+F = 38
No night caching. I suggest parking in the small lot off of Southwest Avenue--crossing route 91 on foot isn't particularly safe and the lot is closer to the final cache.
