This cache is named after the location and its contents are themed. It is situated in the quiet Hampshire chalk downlands, with sheep in nearby fields, on the outskirts of Winchester.
The best time of year to visit is between March and September. The prize is situated just outside a small 5-acre conservation area. There is no need to climb fences there are plenty of footpaths and gates. This area will be of special interest to those in touch with nature. The cache is accessible via a number footpaths from various directions with a children’s play park fairly close by, with limited parking at in residential area at N 51° 02.522 / W 001° 21.038 The cache is a small ammo box, please take a photo with the camera and note any interesting sightings in the logbook.
