INTERSTATE LOVE SONG
"Interstate Love Song" is a song by the American rock band Stone Temple Pilots, from their second studio album, Purple, released in 1994. The song, considered to be one of the band's biggest hits, hit number one on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart on September 17, 1994. The song it replaced at number one was "Vasoline", also by Stone Temple Pilots. The song stayed at number one for 15 weeks, a record at the time. In 2003, "Interstate Love Song" was featured on the greatest hits compilation Thank You. In early 2008, "Interstate Love Song" was made available as downloadable content for the music video game series Rock Band and as a playable track in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. In 2009, it was named the 58th best hard rock song of all time by VH1.
This is one of my all time favorite songs. I thought it would be fun to tribute this song with a nice Letterbox. And I will get T to listen to these guys, that is a promise I made to myself. Enjoy the letterbox and the song!
Now for the letterbox. (You will find a stamp and ink pad inside if you wish to use)
1. The starting cords will basically put you in the middle of the parking lot. (Mind the traffic in the parking lot);
2. Look toward the freeway;
3. You should see three oak trees in front of you;
4. Start sauntering toward the oak trees;
5. Walk past the trees to the fence line;
6. Look approximately eye level for a six footer;
7. Cache is hanging on the fence, behind some shrubs;
8. AT this time there are no stamps or ink pads in the cache. Feel free to stamp the log if you wish. I am working on putting together the proper letterbox cache and return it to its original location.
