ATTENTION: The use of the hiking trail at Casa Araza is undesirable by the owner there. The cache is therefore currently difficult to access.

Um zum Start dieses kleinen Mulits zu kommen, bittet den Busfahrer, dass er euch an den Casas de Araza raus lässt oder stellt euer Auto in Masca ab und lasst euch von einem Taxi bis zu den Casas de Araza bringen. Am Morgen fahren viele Taxis leer nach Los Gigantes zurück, so dass das gut machbar ist. Dort verlasst ihr bereits nach wenigen Metern den Zufahrtsweg, steigt nach unten zu der kleinen Staumauer. Von dort führt der Wanderpfad schräg rechts hoch. Er führt euch um die kleine Bergkuppe herum durch ein Ziegentor und dann hinunter in den Barranco Natero und Barranco Seco. Der Weg ist immer wieder mit "Steinmännchen" markiert. Bis zum Bergwerk geht ihr gut 90 Minuten.
Der kleine Multi besteht aus 3 Stationen und dem Final. Dafür benötigt ihr etwa 1 Stunde Zeit. Station 1 sucht ihr im Maschinenhaus. An den 3 Stationen findet ihr neben dem Hinweis jeweils eine Zahl. Diese benötigt ihr um das Final zu öffnen. Bitte hinterlast alles so, wie ihr es vorfindet und achtet insbesondere beim Final auf den Verschluss und die gute Tarnung.
Ein Rundweg nach Masca ist seit 2021 nicht mehr machbar. Der Stollen wurde verschlossen. Der Rückweg führt also wieder auf dem gleichen Weg zurück zur Casa de Araza.
Wir wünschen euch viel Spaß bei dieser tollen Schluchtwanderung völlig abseits der Touristenströme. Geht nicht alleine! Feste Wanderschuhe sollten bei so einer Tour selbstverständlich sein.

You begin the hike at the Casas de Araza. Leave the road to the Casas de Araza after a few meters, climbs down to the small dam and goes from there the trail right up around the small hilltop to a little gate and then down into the Barranco Barranco Seco. Until the mine youn need abaout 90 minutes. Station 1 you seek in the house with the engines. The multi have 3 stations and a final. You need about 1 hour. At the 3 stations you will find a number. You need the neumbers for the final.
A circular route to Masca has not been feasible since 2021. The tunnel was closed. The way back leads back on the same route to Casa de Araza.
We hope you enjoy this great canyon walk completely away from the toutists. Do not go alone! You need good walking shoes!
