A clean up initiative during Oshawa's clean up week.
At the end of Towline road, at Olive Ave. There is a pretty serious garbage dump. The hills are decent here and the garbage has collected over some time. The City of Oshawa has backed us on a CITO event. They will provide bags and gloves, though if you have either along with any collection equipment please do bring.
Parking, down the local streets. I will have a flyer sent to them to explain the activity going on.
Prizes, there will be some to give away. Thanks to KJKC and the Cachers Toybox for their support. Will be drawn at regular intervals must be present to claim. And a big thank you to 62cachecrew for all their help with this event.
Refreshments, there will be some coffee and drink. Thank you to Tim Hortons and Freshco for their donations.
Sharing, please bring your trackables as there will be a sign in table that you can put them them for others to discover or to trade if that arrangement is made.
Pictures, take a tonne. I will have the papers there as well. Group pic for sure. Bring your kids too, get them to work.
Timing, 10am-2pm on Saturday April 28th 2012. We have changed the timing as much of this area has been cleaned up, but there is still enough to do here. Therefore we will end at 2 instead of 4.
Sign in sheet at the table, and will drop a name in a box for you.
