Geocache Description:

Here's a cool and unique little cache right off the North County Trail about a half-mile south of the Somers Commons on Route 118 (which is also a good place to park). If you haven't been there, you can hit the "Common's Cache" on the trail near RT 118 and three others about a mile south of this one.

Coordinates tend to bounce on this trail, possible because of the high embankments. I took two sets of coords and checked it on Google Earth. Look for a little path off the east side of the trail. There are two little ponds over the ridge with a little clearing.

The cache is a well-camoed, small can (about the size of a soup can). There are a few items inside plus a log.

Good luck and happy hunting!
