Geocache Description:

An Event Cache for the rare 29-Feb date, for those who have to work and still want to make it to an event to celebrate the day.

This event has been organised to help cachers meet and to get a smilie for their leap year day on the calendar should they need it. This is a day when events are occurring all around the world to mark this 366th Caching day in the year.

The event will take place between 6 and 8 pm on 29th February, in Salt Pan Creek Reserve, Riverwood (SW Sydney). It is scheduled to fit in with those of us who have to work for the day, but with daylight saving still light enough to enjoy.
There are playground equipment and tables there, so feel free to bring kids to this family friendly park. There are also some nearby caches, if you haven't already done them.
All cachers are welcome, particularly new members who'd like to learn more and do some networking.
Light snacks will be available.
A group photo will be taken at 7pm.

I plan to arrive an BBQ some tea, as there are free gas BBQ's available, so you are welcome come along and bring a steak/snag etc.

The Log will be available from 6pm and will leave with me at 8pm.

There is parking and a toilet available, as well as some caches nearby. I hope to find tie to get 2 of mine back online at the park by then as well.

Access - Riverwood Stn is about 5 to 10 minutes away, and the M5 has a turnoff right next to the park is travelling from the west.
