Geocache Description:

SHM 72 Nevada Childrens Home marker - BYO pen. Holds only a few tiny items.

Easy walk-up with nearby free parking. Another interesting fact is that the Carson City firehouse building just to the south has a really neat museum of antique fire-fighting equipment and memorabilia of old-time firefighting in Carson City, open to the public M-F during normal business hours. If you ask at the main desk they will open the room for you - make an appointment for larger school groups.
