rassilon256: Well this is a sad day for me. I've owned this cache for six of its ten years. It was my first cache, kindly adopted to me by the original CO. I really did learn about the responsibilities and joys of being a CO from this cache.
In the last few years it's been muggled a few times. Had it been one of my own hides I would've archived it sooner. But, as I say, it had a special place in my caching life. And while not antique, at the time of writing it is the tenth oldest cache within 10km of the centre of Camden, that history is important.
It was also a rarity as it was attached in a way that (for good reason) is no longer allowed - a hook screwed into a tree. The hook was so well placed that it was a shame not to continue using it.
However, the ratio of maintenance to finds has gotten too high and the latest container is gone. Today I've removed most of the hook. The tree has already claimed the rest. Time to hide new caches in new places.
