The Great NWB Adventure trail: Loggerheads Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Great North Wales Adventure trail and is 1 of 13 caches hidden across the region.
To find this cache follow the path that leads from the north end of the Loggerheads car park for a few hundred meters. The cache is hidden a short distance from the path in the woods.

This cache is part of 'The Great North Wales Borderlands Adventure Trail'. 13 caches have been hidden at popular locations across North Wales and the campaign is supported by Wrexham, Denbighshire and Flintshire councils. Visit the website for more campaign information.

The cache itself is a small tupperware box. Inside is a laminated welcome note, map showing the other 12 locations, a disposable camera for you to take a photo of your family at the cache and certificates. There are also Golden Tickets hidden in 5 of the 13 caches, those Geocachers that find the Golden Tickets will win Gelert Rucksacks!

We are also giving away a Weekend Getaway in North Wales; for you chance to win this take a photo of yourself or family at the cache location and upload it to www.northwalesgeocachetrail.co.uk and you will be entered into the competition. We'll be posting clues as to where to find the caches and Golden Tickets on the NWB Facebook and Twitter pages over the next month. Check the website for more info and good luck!

The Loggerheads area is regarded as ‘Wales’s Best kept secret’, surrounded by stunning Clwydian Range hills. The park attracts over 100,000 visitors every year, offering a variety of trails, allowing you to explore and delve into the historic past, the perfect place for a scenic family hunt.
