Geocache Description:

This cache is part of 'The Great North Wales Borderlands Adventure Trail in which 13 caches have been hidden near to popular attractions in North Wales. Due to the busy area, this cache is hidden away from the main highstreet although the station is still in sight! Across from railway in between houses on the right and a local shop is a public footpath. Walk up the public footpath up towards the canal. Off the footpath is some grass and tree stumps- cache is here.

Off the footpath are a series of tree stumps up a slight hill which you'll have to scramble up. The stumps/ dead trees are dotted along a fence which lines the canal.
Once of these stumps houses the geocache itself which has been placed inside. There are three stumps to search.
The cache itself is a small tupperware box. Inside is a laminated welcome note, map showing the other 12 locations, a disposable camera, log book and certificates. There are also hidden Golden Tickets in 5 of the 13 caches, those Geocachers that find the Golden Tickets will win Gelert Rucksacks!

The Llangollen Railwayis a volunteer-run preserved railway in Denbighshire, Wales, which operates between Llangollen and Carrog; at 7.5 miles (12.1 km) long. Operates daily in Summer as well as weekends throughout the Winter months using a wide variety of steam and diesel locomotives. Train rides incur a fee but free to look around. Nice tea shop and gift shop on site. Look out for Thomas the Tank Engine who passes through!
