Platform 3
Elmwood Railway Station (aka Bryndwr Station)
Elmwood Station served passengers travelling on the North and Southlines to work and home, and was a passenger stop only.
Co ordinates will take you to a little garden next to the railway line - this cache has been muggled once so please make sure coast is clear!
The official opening date of the station is not known, but the date of closure was 27th March 1977.
Nothing of the platform or station remains - although there is a small train control stop box painted with "Elmwood" on the opposite side of the road.
Please take care when grabbing this one, it is next to a popular cycle/walkway that runs paralell to the railway line. Keep kids close.
Late evening may be best for "forraging" for this one.
