The cache is hidden along Hwy 70 a couple miles south of Marysville. Do not park on the highway, but take the Erle Road off-ramp and then turn north on Chestnut Road. There is a stamp in the cache with which you can stamp the log, or you may to prefer to use one of your own.
Years ago when I was pheasant hunting one day, I managed to bring home a rooster that was uninjured. The kids named him Phillip and he lived in a pen in our backyard. He was a very colorful little fellow. Unfortunately, he would cackle early in the morning and wake up the neighborhood...so we released him back into the wild. In order to find Phillip, follow the directions below.
1. Start at the above-listed coordinates, facing north. You will see a narrow gate and silver guardrail on your right, and a cell tower on your left.
2. Drive north...past an orange garage door, and a yellow fireplug.
3. Continue north until almost reaching another yellow fire hydrant. [if you reach a large storage bldg, you have gone too far]
4. Park about 16 paces south of the hydrant, and look to your right (that is, the east)
5. The cache is at the base of a small oak tree...triple stump...at the fence.
