Well this is our first to hide, so I hope all goes well.
GZ will put you between the old Wonthaggi Power House and the Wonthaggi Hospital, now called Bass Coast Regional Health.
When the Wonthaggi Power House was in full operation as a power station and not a concreting business as it is now, Coal from he Coal mine was used to generate power for the town. A by product of generating the power was steam and instead of this going to waste, the steam produced was piped to Wonthaggi Hospital and used for heating the hospital.
At GZ is a concrete pillar which was used to hold the steam pipe in place. There is another pillar also nearby.
It is a small cache with log book, small swaps and FTF prize. There is no pen, so please BYO.
A big thank you goes to the Cape Paterson New Years Gathering in which through a raffle I won this cache to hide. Also thanks Gonefishen07 in pushing me to do my first hide. I hope it will be the first one of many.
