Geocache Description:

This is a small cache hidden near one of Great Falls' best summer activity spots. Come during the season and enjoy a fun atmosphere for very low cost! However, game day may be a bad day for caching as far as muggles are concerned. There may be some pine needles covering the container but they should be easily brushed away.

Abner Doubleday was a great American patriot who fought in multiple wars, including the Civil War. He was involved in the battle defending Fort Sumter, South Carolina and was a general for the North. He is also credited with inventing the game of baseball, and there is a stadium in his home state of New York named for him.
