WirralWallaces: We picked this container up and after rummaging where we had left the cache tied to the gorse bush to prevent the local creatures from moving the container, we drew a blank, after a further 5 minutes or so of searching we decided that yet another container had gone missing. We retreated to the car and after reading the last log, we returned to have one last look for our Fox, and low and behold 5 metres from where it should have been tied to the gorse we found the container.
Thanks for relocating the cache for us, however we have now archived this cache to free up space for others.

Geocache Description:

This is the continuation of our Caldy Ramble series which originally included 7 caches. We have decided to expand the series to include a few more caches based on the same theme.

The caches can be found just off some of the main paths running through Caldy and Thurstaston Hill

This cache has been placed in a camouflaged bag and long sleeves and gloves could be an advantage!

You may need a pair of tweezers to remove the log and you will definately need a pen to sign it. Please ensure you replace it as found.

Parking is available at nearby Caldy Club but please be aware that the club tends to be very busy at weekends especially between September and March when the club in inundated with rugby players! You will be able to park here free of charge unless the Caldy First Team are playing in which case you would be asked to pay (something to do with rugby union league rules!) In this case, you will be able to park in Pikes Hey Road but please have some consideration for the residents.

Alternatively, you can park in the public car park further up the road in Thurstaston.
