Geocache Description:

Mesquite is a city with a rich history of a dedicated and industrious people, a fine museum and a series of historical plaques in the oldest part of town. If you visit the museum (free) you can pick up a brochure outlining a walking tour covering a 3x4 block section with 24 historical markers. I have used a few of these plaques to make this multi/puzzle. There will be information at each waypoint that will help you fill in the blanks to find the container with a log sheet. I believe a person dependent on a wheelchair can get to all of the pertinent plaques. They are all along sidewalks and most of them can be read from your car.

You will be solving for N 36° 4A.BCD′ W 114° 0W.XYZ′

Marker #8 – James E Hughes Home (etc) (N36° 48.296' W114° 03.992')

Marker #23 – Dairy Barn (N36° 48.155' W114° 04.004')
B = Third digit in year originally built.

Marker #6 - Edward Theater (N 36° 48.280′ W 114° 03.992′)

Marker #17 – Charles Arthur Hughes Home (N36° 48.318' W114° 03.778')
Z = Last Digit of the Year of the first iteration of this house (Circa).

1/3/2025 - Recent changes neccesitated the restructuing of this multi-cahe.  It also facilitated the pubication of the local cache associated with a Geotour.

7/15/23. Found one plaque was missing so there is now a subsitute plaque to find. Another plaque was moved 100 ft so that error has been rectified. Also cleaned up and organized the page to make it easier to read and follow.

2/5/14. I went to this one today and took new readings. The N coords were exactly as posted and the reading I got for the W were plus .002. Considering the location it shouldn't be that tough. To the east is obsurd and to the west silly. The original container is in its original spot and about at MY eyeball level.
