Geocache Description:


伊勢神宮（内宮）の近くに1626年に建てられた道標があります。
町石ではない道標で記年のあるものでは日本最古だそうです。（ややこしい;）

「お伊勢参らば朝熊をかけよ、朝熊かけねば片参り」と言われるように、
江戸時代には神宮参拝後、朝熊山の金剛證寺に参詣するのが一般的だったそうです。
この道標は、磯部道（志摩方面への道）との分岐点に立てられています。
