Geocache Description:

A cache placed for the Durham and District (D.A.D.) meet February 2012.

S.O.A.R. cache - or for the full title, Sedgefield Old Approach Road. All these caches will be placed close to or near an old approach road leading to the small town of Sedgefield. So you could call these drive by caches!

Sedgefield has a population of around 5000 and growing. It has a horse racing course, golf club, cricket club and is home of the Sedgefield Harriers. It has a wonderful park on the outskirts called Hardwick Park, which also contains a fine hotel of the same name. Sedgefield is twinned with Hamminkeln, Germany. It has even been visited by a President who it is said enjoyed fish and chips in the local Inn with the then prime minister Tony Blair.

This cache – The cache container is about micro sized - the log is nano size. Please bring your own writing implement (which cacher would be without one?) Please, please replace carefully and leave it as you found it.

Well done to Henry-Jones, Mel & Freddie, Mr'n'MrsC & gerozlil on being ***FIRST TO FIND***
